ESTABLISHING
It was established in 2014 in Kyiv (Ukraine) by husband-and-wife team Dan Vakhrameyev and Kateryna Vakhrameyeva.
Dan - creative director of the company. He got his MA degree at Art-Design International University of Salvador Dali. Since his curious youth, he always saw design as his calling and never had a second thought about life direction.
Kateryna Vakhrameyeva ( Fedorenko - maiden name ) is an executive director. Kateryna dropped out of university : ) She has a background in the fashion industry, gaining her international working experience from an utterly young age. She moved on to fully engaging with the company, bringing her management skills and fashion vision into this creative collaboration.
first collection
In December 2014, +kouple presented its very first object design collection, SUSTAINABLE ORIGINS.
The minimalist object forms were created by virtue of assembling genuine materials of wood and metal. Accurate and conceivable design is the main principle of the collection.
The first items of the SO collection were presented in December 2014, such as floor lamps SO1 and SO5, pendant lamps SO5, SO6, and lineal SO8.
In November 2015, an official online store was launched. Since then, +kouple has reached over 40 counties with worldwide delivery.
Workshop
+kouple team supports local production in Kyiv, developing and assembling their products in the family-owned workshop. Manual welding, metal grinding, polishing, turnery, and powder coating done by craft masters complement the necessary level of machinery work.

In December 2016, the first +kouple store was opened.
Located in Kyiv's city center, our location combines a showroom with a complete display of products, an office conference room, and a manufacturing workshop.
Our spot is represented by the distinctive color scheme: ash grey brick around a bright yellow front door. More ash grey and bright yellow accents balance the clean lines and open spaces.
The through-line represents the minimalist approach, identity awareness, and a strong focus on sustainability.
Stockholm
Furniture & Light Fair
In February 2017, +kouple participated in the Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair, being the very first Ukrainian brand ever presented at the is the world’s leading meeting place for Scandinavian design.
Annual Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair participation has become our primary platform for launching new products.
BLT_Collection
We challenged ourselves to experiment and develop new ways of constructing design objects.
We were inspired and eager to create an alternative, unique suspension for our new products.
BLT – derived from the word “belt” – is a new textile pendant and decorative component.
It’s a primal design element used in various products, such as lighting, furniture, and decor.
The branded belt is offered in 4 colors: Ultra Blue, Grey, Coral, and Almond.
BLT aims to emphasize the linearity of geometric shapes.
Accordingly, new fittings, mountings, and assembly elements were created alongside the latest models.

The minimalist interior design uses bare essentials to create a simple, uncluttered space. It’s crucial to maintain a balance between clean minimalism and a certain level of pleasant atmosphere.
From a design perspective, it is ideal not to be cluttered or overwhelmed with different forms; therefore, by focusing on what’s essential, we want to minimize an unnecessary variety of materials and structures.
